Radeon 6850 hight pitch noise problem sounds like an alarm

I have just got my new radeon 6850 and as soon as it boots up i get what sounds like an alarm!
very high pitch buzz !
Its not the fan so I cant work out what else it could be?
oher than that it is working fine.
Can anyone suggest what might be the problem please.

Ok It turned out to be the chassis intruder alarm !
god knows why cos I havnt got it coonected and its never gone off before.

lol thats good, just diasble the chassis intrusion alarm its worthless.. If it was your gpu Id say turn that thing immediatley that sounds annoying!

mpooley--I just ran across your article while trying to figure out an annoying high-pitched alarm I started getting. What kind of motherboard do you have? I just put a 6850 into my GA-EX58-UD5 and this is the first time I ever heard the alarm.
