Alright so posted below is what I put together, and I really like it, and I know the motherboard is 16x/4x but I don't plan on using a crossfire setup any time soon. Other than that open to any ideas.

When you say you don't plan to CF soon...does that mean you do plan on it? In any event I'd recommend grabbing a 990 AMD motherboard to give you the guaranteed bulldozer upgrade path. If you don't plan to CF you can down grade your psu to 500W.

Sorry about that this build came out to be around 900 which is pretty much where I want it but I'm very flexible with price right now so I didn't include it.

I would like the play at 1920x1200 if possible but I'm willing to go to a lower resolution if need be.

I would buy these parts this week.

I'm kind of an ASUS fan (I've always liked their other products) so I'm leaning towards this

Didn't even thing about Bulldozer, and now I know :)

With this board I'm sitting at $1040 including windows 7, I think I'm pretty happy with that, and I'll be able to update as well, and Crossfire if it strikes me as necessary. :)
