AMD to Intel worries!

Hello

I thinking about the following configuration and its Intel?
I friend of mine has this and he said it's a total scream! Loves it, its the best system he has had.

My hesitation is that for years all I have been a loyal AMD user. Right now I have just a AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 6000+ and the thought of changing to the dark side troubles me.  

If I stay with AMD I'm thinking about something starting with the:
