Monitor Problem

Here is my problem. When I boot up my computer, my monitor says: 'No signal.' I have to reboot my computer about 3 times before I get a display. The cable is not faulty and is securely attached. The graphics card is new. I have tried to turn my monitor on before booting up my computer but it still does not work.

What should I do to get the display working when I boot up my PC?

PSU - Coolermaster silent pro 850w
Monitor: Acer S221HQL
GFX card: Zotac GTX 580 AMP! edition

Thanks in advance.
