all of a sudden today my monitor has a very green tint. I was online and i thought it was just the website i was on but it wasn't. Its a 2-1/2 yr old 19" EV910 came with my Gateway Performance 700 Mhz system. My video card is only 2 months old. Gainward GeForce 3 Ti200. How do i tell if its the monitor or vid card or other? A couple times its gone back to normal for about a minute then goes green again

ok ok first thing to try is
MAKE SURE IT IS PLUGED IN REAL GOOD TO THE PC.

i had a similar problem and it was because the case and vid card connector were so close that i couldn't fit in the plug well.

so i wiggled it and the colour problem was solved.

symptoms
loses one colour
flickers on/off losing this colour.
eventually it filckered off for ever

untill i wiggled the plugs!!!

hope that is the problem!!!!!!
