Hello, i am building a new computer and my cooler master 310 elite case has connections from the power switvh to the mobo sitting around not plugged in yet. I am unaware of how they are supposed to be connected and in what order. i have 5 small connectors labeled; H.D.D. LED, POWER SW, RESET SW, POWER LED+, and POWER LED-.

i could not find the user manual. the mobo i have is a: foxconn h-rs880-uatx

When it was in the HP, the power button was hooked up with a usb outlet to make one connector. hopefully that helps.

Right, I'm home now on the pc googled 'h-rs880-uatx manual and found http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&lang=en&docname=c01925486&product=4007354#N498 and http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/manualCategory?lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&docname=c01925486&product=4007354&lang=en& but you'll have to DL the pdf's and look through them
theres a motherboard layout on there, your frontpanel header is down on the right, near the sata ports, look on the pins there for which is which, unless you bring your pc to me, thats all I can do man

i managed to get it running using the old on/off switch from the other case. i took out the wires i got for the pwr, reset, and leds and just put in the start switch from the other case that came with a full 9 pin connector and wired it in. it starts up and i guess it works for now. no need for me to use the other ones seen as though it works. :)

hope you understand what i am saying seen as though i'm not fully awake right now :p

Yup, instead of using the buttons on the new case, you've wired in the old ones, I have a similar mod on my case atm, if you have that one-piece adaptor thing, see which lead is plugged where on it, and match up the same plugs on the new cases buttons, or you can leave it as is if your happy
