You can use the AMD Athlon X2 7550 on AM2 board. Before upgrading the CPU first update the BIOS to the latest then do the CPU upgrade... But i am not sure the board can support Quad core CPU's or CPU with TDP greater than 95w avoid such if any...

MSI manual for ytour MoBo says it will support an AM2+ CPU NOT exceeding 95W TDP, which is what an Athlon X2 7550 is rated at. BUT, looking at the AMD site it doesn't show that MoBo as supporting the X2 AM2+. I also couldn't even find that motherboard on MSI's site.
Don't think I would buy a CPU just to test it. If you already have the chip in hand, put it in and try it.
