How to disable window firewall

firewall is blocking me to log on the www.symantec.com

In XP go, Start (or Control Panel) Network Connections, select the connection, Properties, Advanced, Untick "Protect My Computer by limiting or preventing access....."

That's in XP -- improvise if you have later Windows.


Incidentally, are you sure it's the Firewall -- viruses often block access to anti-virus sites.
