To keep on topic I'll tell a story about photographic technique. Bumping
the ISO can be a useful technique in good lighting especially because it
can be used to ensure tripod-like stability through fast shutter speed
in daylight conditions that really don't show noise anyways. I'll admit
I had it on ISO 800 only because I forgot to change it back but hey, for
a full pixel crop on the shaky gangplank end of my 35-200 nikon that's
pretty sharp.
