Hello,I just had a few question about triple buffering.I basically understand what it does, which is why I find it puzzling that I rarely see it as an in game graphics option.I can enable it through my Nvida control panel,my question is,should I enable it for every game?Do all games benefit from triple buffering,or can it have a negative response to performance in some cases while other games would benefit,or will some games just not respond to it at all?

Just looking for a clearer understanding, like should I force it on Assassin's Creed Brotherhood?I have a descent rig,my gpu is a GTX 470.Thank you in advance for taking the time to read this and/or taking the time respond.

i have only played around with it recently myself. For a start, there is no point enabling it unless you have Vsync on. Since reading some articles about it i have enabled it and plan to keep it that way. it makes frame rates much more stable with vsync on across every game i have tried it with so far and it has caused no problems. Try it for yourself, it cant hurt to try. The only problem i can see is in situations where lots of vid card memory is being used up, triple buffering keeps another frame held in memory, increasing vid card memory useage.
