Can you overclock ram more than its rated speed

Can you overclock a Ram that is over it's rated speed like for example this:
It is rated at 1600, Can I overclock it to 1866mhz or 2000mhz?

To some extent (1866), yes, probably, but there's no real reason to. 1600 is plenty for anything but bench runs.

It is doable but not recommended because usually you have to adjust the timings so you loose the benefit of the increased speed.
