Hi TH community,

I’m building a system with a budget around 750. I’ve already picked up an i5-3450 and am going to put 8GB RAM and probably a 6870 or a 7850. My question is – what’s stopping me from getting a $50 H61 or other cheap motherboard if I’m not interested in overclocking or SLI/Crossfire ever on this system. Are there any other necessary features I should be looking for – do I need a certain motherboard so the i5-3450 won’t be bottlenecked? And finally, do you have any motherboard recommendations, preferably around $75 or less.

Thanks for any replies.
