I have a new Hp Pavillion a4302f with a M2N78-LA motherboard. It has been working fine, but now it wont boot. In BIOS, it does not recognize the harddrive or the CD ROM Drive? any ideas??? I have tryed everything. Is the motherboard bad???

check the cables see if any of them are loose. (the cables inside the computer connecting the driver to the motherboard)

Did u do any updates or upgrades?

Hey, no softwear or hardwear changes in about 4 months. Trying to get it to work,so far I have swaped out everything exept the motherboard, power supply, and processor. I'm stumped....

Do u have another HDD to try? It might be fried.

Can u reset the BIOS?
Reset the CMOS memory the right way as is described in the motherboard manual using the clear CMOS link with the power cord unplugged.

Reset the BIOS..... Still nothing....
