I bought this card ASUS EAH6870 DC/2DI2S/1GD5 Radeon HD 6870 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card with Eyefinity but for 30$ more i could get XFX HD-687A-ZNBC Radeon HD 6870 Black Edition 1GB 256-bit DDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card with Eyefinity. Is it worth me going thru the hassle of the return and buying and reinstalling for the $30? is the performance better on the XFX? Please you opinions will be greatly appreciated. I have less than a week to return the asus if the xfx is a better buy. I mostly play WoW. Nothing crazier.

I would keep the Asus. The XFX card has a slight overclock. The Asus has better cooling. Other than this, they are the same card. Plus, The XFX has mini-display ports, and the Asus has regular display ports, which is insignificant.

Keep the ASUS, actually black edition is a bit better but not worth additional 30$, if you're going for 560 then definately go for SOC, otherwise it will be only 10% better than your 6870, if for 6950, which is stronger than 560 when compared stock to stock or OC to OC, but weaker than stock to OC, then you should get 1GB if you will OC or 2GB if you want to "flash" it into 6970 *will unlock shaders so it'll perform like 6970*
