Gaming/home theater mobo

Alright so this is my first post and lookin for some help. Im in the process of making my first rig mainly for gaming/home theater purposes. Ive decided to go with the 3770k ivy bridge for overclocking, gtx 670 or 680 (might go sli eventually), 16Gb (4 x 4Gb) RAM, blue ray drive and mayb a sound card. I wouldnt imagine anything else is important. So im basically looking for the best z77 motherboard for this set up. I would prefer that it had wifi on it. Price is not an issue so im open for anything. So if anyone could help me out i would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks in advance

  1. ASUS P8Z77-V PRO LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
  2. alright whats the difference between that one and the deluxe besides the fact that the deluxe has a few more pcie slots and usb slots
  3. Please link to the board you are talking about, I'm not seeing it.
  4. Which one -- HTPC or Gaming?? They're totally different builds. An HTPC it's all about a "Quite PC" and Gaming including OC'ing it'll be (too) noisy. So unless you want to spend a lot on custom water cooling with lots of radiators and expensive fans and fan controls IMO one or the other or (2) separate PC's.
  5. im not to worried about noise because it will be no where near where im sitting and my speakers will be turned up too loud anyways.

You won't need anything more than one GTX 670 or GTX 680 for a HDTV (1920x1080).

Use PowerLine, WiFi for Gaming or Streaming media (NetFlix/HULU, etc) and in general is horrible: LAG (poor ping rates compounded by your ISP), Bouncing-Bunny bandwidth, and s-l-o-w.
