No post,no signal.

i have a problem with my pc one day i turned it on and nothing happened no beeping from the motherboard,no signal from the monitor and it did not even turn on the mouse or keyboard

i had tested the hard drive,monitor,and ram sticks.
all of them worked fine.

the system i am using is a acer aspire m5640

it has a Intel Core 2 Duo processor 2.4 GHz
with 3 GBs of DDR 2 ram

NVIDIA GeForce 7100 integrated video card

500 GB hard drive

300 Watt power supply

if you know what the problem is pleas tell me

put out ram's then turn your pc on if you hear a "beep" sound then your mobo is ok or if not then it is dead.

yes i do hear a beep.

hmm, this mean's your motherboard is fine, sound's like you didn't seated the cpu correctly so try to reseat it. I've solved this issue so many time and every time the problem was in the cpu place.

alright i reset it to the best of my ability and i still get nothing no post no signal.

You tried the motherboard jumper to reset cmos and everything? (hi it's mac btw)
