I recently installed an MSi R5770, and I'm very happy with it so far. I'm running Windows Vista 32 bit.
Games like World of Warcraft and Left 4 Dead 2 work great.
My problem is with this RPG creator; the buttons within the window do not visually appear where they should be. I can somewhat deduce where they should be within the window, and then click them, but many times the different elements in the window are piled on top of each other.
I can't use the program this way. This also happened with the driver installation application that came with the video card.
My monitor's native resolution is 1680 x 1050, which I guess is kinda unusual, but I have tried different resolutions with no improvement.
Is there a term for this problem? Anyone know where to begin fixing it? Please see the screenshots.

I have not tried to re-install the problem program because you just unzip it; it doesn't have an installer.

I found a solution. I had to "change size of on-screen items" which is located in Control Panel > Hardware and Sound, of course. I had set mine to Larger scale (120 DPI), and when I changed it to Default scale (96 DPI), it fixed the problem. Of course, the real problem here is poor application design.
