Asus P8Z68-v/Gen3 Audio Issue

I purchased the Asus P8Z68-v/Gen3 mobo and everything is up and running perfectly and the sound works. I am having an issue with the audio on the mobo sounding like it is distanced. Sounds somewhat like a tin can but not so much. I updated the Realtek drivers in it already and tried changing the audio environments and the different EQ settings (Rock, Pop, Dance etc etc..). I do use headphones and no surround sound 5.1 or 7.1. The PSU has enough power as well so I know its not that. Just sounds like it doesn't have that power or close up to my ears type of sound. Wondering what I can do to make it sound like my previous system where it had some "push" I guess you could say.

Are you sure that all effects are Off and all equalizations are off?
