Hey I found an example:
The guy in this thread: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/329530-28-will-applyi... iknowhowtofixit stated: "If it is the direct touch heat pipe type, you apply thermal paste differently than a regular flat surface heatsink."

im gettin the 212 plus, what you recommend?Apply a small amount of paste (seriously, very small), to the base of the heatsink and spread it enough to fill in the crevices. After that, a small pea sized dot in the middle of the CPU should do it. Don't spread that, just let the weight of the heatsink do it.

Im not asking where to put the heatsink, thats obvious, im asking where the thermal grease goes in the heatsink, Djdecibel said jn the base and i was asking where eexacly in the baseWhere the heatpipes are. Just take a card (or flat object of some kind) and spread the small bit of paste over the heatpipes on the bottom (like you have in the pic you posted) making sure to fill in the crevices. Won't take much!
