Computer is slower after bios update

Hello,
After flashing my bios and putting in more updated version, my motherboard went through all of its codes slower, and the worse part is that now my cpu score in 3dmark11 went from 9100 to 8400. Crysis 2 performance is not as good as it used to be either. Why could this have happened?
And btw, my ram won't run at 1866 no more, so i wonder if this is part of the problem
I7 2600k stock speed
Asus Maximus IV extreme
Corsair 8GB 1866 RAM
