Hey guys,

I hear it's possible to run 8gb DDR3 in this board, even though it's only rated for 4gb. Would this make it harder to overclock my Q6600?

If I went with DDR2, the Gigabyte specs say

4 x 1.8V DDR2 DIMM sockets supporting up to 8 GB of system memory
Dual channel memory architecture
Support for DDR2 1066*/800/667 MHz memory modules

Would something like the Kingston HyperX 8GB DDR2 (4x2GB) 800MHz (PC2-6400) Memory Kit work? It says it's rated at 2.0V though. Would this be a significant problem? Particularly overclocking the above CPU.
