Video Card problems

Hello,
My monitor is fading out. I barely can see the imges, I have tried another monitor and is the same. I believe it is the video card any help?

  2. did you replace the video cable? It could be a video card issue. If it's VGA it could be a weak signal.
  3. I did. It is not the cable. I bought a new one and the images are even worse.
  4. I am assuming this is onboard graphics. Is there more than one output that you could use? Worst case if you know it isn't the monitor or cable you could get a cheap video expansion card.

    No isn't the monitor either the cable. I believe I need to buy a video card but the problem is that I'm not a computer expert and I don't know what kind of video card I should buy for my computer.

    Can you help me to decide wich card is the best for my computer? I'm not a computer expert I need all the help posible
  7. If you prefer not to order online, you can always stop in a Best Buy or something like that. Just tell them you need a small replacement card that will work with your computer. They should be able to help you out. Just don't let them talk you into anything much over $50 or so.
