Hi guys, thanks for looking at this.
My question is that I ordered ASRock 970 EXTREME3 AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard that has no on-board video chipset,:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157280

and i also ordered a no-video cpu, the phenom 980 BE:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103935

.

I do have a video card, the geforce GTX560, but i am wondering if im going to run into any trouble, booting the new system with the video card right away. Will i get any video when i first boot the computer having my monitors attached to the geforce gtx 560?

Solution
Yes, the BIOS will recognize that you have a card in the PCIex16 slot and default to it. But I'd first boot to just one monitor and try to enter BIOS to be sure the new board is functioning OK. Then connect both monitors before you install the O/S.

While you're in BIOS, you can set the video to the PCIe card. Then the BIOS won't have to 'look for it' each time.
