Hi, I'm going to build my own PC soon, I will use it mostly for gaming and surfing the web. As this is my first "real" PC I don't know much about which parts are better or what, but I have done some research and I have come out with this two builds that are around the same price:

The games that I would play are StarCraft2, The Witcher 2, Fallout New Vegas, Skyrim, Battlefield Bad Company 2, Battlefield 3, Call of Duty 4, and stuff like that at a resolution of 1920x1080. So I would really appreciate it if someone could help me choosing between these two.

Thanks :p

Ahh, it's hard to say. The first thing is I'm from the homebuilt section, so I am of course always going to suggest building yourself when spending so much money. You will be able to tweak performance the way you want, and feel super badass and love your PC that much more.

Where are you buying from? If you can swap the 2500k and mobo into the first build it would be very beneficial. In fact, wherever you are buying from has pretty good prices. Very good. For cost actually.

So anyway, think over building yourself. You get a lot of benefits, and almost always save money.

I am actually going to build it myself with the help of a friend, and I'm getting the parts from newegg. And I would love to put the 2500k it's mb in the first build, but I cant afford to do so =/
