AMD processor unknown? help...

I have an ASRock A780GXE/128M and I recently installed a Phenom II X4 940 3.0Ghz. at first it said Processor Unknown both under the Bios and My computer properties but I could see it was still running on my CPU sidebar option. To fix this I updated my drivers for Bios to the most recent P1.60. Everything seems to read the Processor now except under Device Manager where it still tells me AMD Unknown Processor four times for each of the cores. Any answers? I would like everything to detect the right settings.

To fix this I updated my drivers for Bios to the most recent P1.60.

You updated the BIOS. A BIOS doesn't have drivers.

Assuming that you installed the AMD drivers for your motherboard, you can remove all CPU cores from Device Manager. Upon reboot, it will probably detect the CPU correctly.
