Hello im new to this forum.
I just built a build recently with:

ASUS M4A87TD Mobo
Coolermaster CM 690 II with GX 650w PSU
AMD Phenom II X4 955 (with stock fan)
Kingston 4 GB RAM ( 2x2 GB)
MSI GTX 460 Cyclone

all went great but after a few weeks and a few couple or so windows updates i started getting windows error code 43 on certain boot ups which my screen reverts to a 800x600 screen ( i think thats the resolution) with the colors all messed up.

looks a bit like that when it boots up but when i reboot its all fine although its a bit of a hassle since its quite common now
all the parts are new so im irritated about this problem.

Any help would be great. thanks

I'm not a tech guy or anything, but if the problems started after certain updates then it sounds like something didn't install right. Have you tried a system restore to a point before the problem started? Then maybe you could attempt the updates again. Just a suggestion.

thanks for the reply
Yeah after the service pack 1 update on windows 7 it started happening i also had some friends looked it up which they said it may be hardware related but il attempt the updates again

usual suspects

1.ram > test wit other ram or run each individually through memtest86+
2. psu > swop out psu (i do suspect this since the gx650 cant even do 650 watts and is just garbage)
3.graphics card > swop out graphics
