CPU: Core2 Q8300 2.33GHz
CPU Fan: stock fan
GPU:??? (1 - PCIe x16 2.0)
RAM: 8GB (4x2gb) DDR2 667MHz
MB: have to check, but it came with the system (m-atx)
HD: Samsung-Toshiba 1TB 5900rpm 16mb sata
PS: Thermaltake 600W (modular)

It used to have an HD5770, but its going to be used in xfire setup elsewhere. Don't remember the fine details b/c not near my computer right now, but the specs should be pretty clear. Just forward me any questions. This computer was an HP refurbish and I added a GPU and a 600W PS. I want the best possible GPU for this board (m-atx) w/o the CPU (barely a Core2Quad) causing bottlenecks in performance. any ideas?

Well if I can get a 3GHZ+ quad core, you can throw in a 6850, get up to 3.4-3.5GHZ and you can throw in a 560Ti

With the 2.33GHZ I wouldn't go farther than a 5770.
