Case is shorting MB

Did you remeber to move all the standoff, maybe you left one in a spot that does not line up with the new boards mounts.

I would take the board out and test it with only the chip, cooler, ram, gpu, and keyboard. If it posts then you know the issue is your case or one of your connectors.

i've seen cases short the mobo because they're warped to touching the underside of the mobo and can be fixed by placing a piece of cardboard between the mobo and case; but they've always super cheapy cases, not anything half decent like a P180.

it sounds like you've narrowed your problem down to the case, but how can you be sure it's the case without knowing what would case it?
