I5 - 2400 Mobo

Greetings,
I am looking to build a new system. I haven't built one in a while. I have not been hardware focused as well since I was in school for programming.
Now it's time. I am looking at building an i5 2400 and am interested in a quality motherboard. I do not intend to do any overclocking. I want stability, and durability. The last system I built I chose a MSI motherboard and failed. I can't justify replacing a motherboard for a p4 chip.
My old Intel motherboard with Rambus rdram memory still works wonderful (albeit slow, use it for linux ssh server). Everything seems to be made cheap now, so I really want a quality, stable, durable motherboard. Do they still exist?

You might want to look into the I5 3450 instead clock for clock 5% faster and $10 more, marry it with a H77 board http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128550

What is your budget?

Just about any Asus Z68 Gen 3 (Pro edition or better) or Z77 (Pro edition or better) board are solid builds:

ubercake, I would rather spend a little more on the motherboard and not have problems than have it fail. I would like to keep it ~$300 max.

Ok I think i am leaning towards z77 mobo.
Would the sabertooth be a step up or down for quality?
