It has been 3 years since I have built a system, and I am behind the times on the latest and greatest hardware. I have posted my tentative hardware specs. Any advice/criticism on what could be done differently would be appreciated. Also, I'm not sure what to buy for some components and have listed what I think are my best options. Your opinions on that would also be valued.

Cases:
CM HAF-X
or
Antec Twelve Hundred V3

PSU:
Corsair HX 1000W
or
Should I go lower on the PSU?

Motherboard:
ASRock Z68 Extreme4
or
Up for suggestions

CPU:
Intel Core i7-2600K

GPUs:
2 Radeon 6970 in CrossFire

SSD:
Crucial M4 64GB SATA III
or
Also up to suggestions here. I haven't found one that stands out. I'm willing to spend more money here if worth it.

HDD:
SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 1TB

RAM:
Honestly, I don't know. There are way too many options. I need opinions here.

Optical Drive:
LG WH10LS30 10X Blu-ray Burner

Cooler:
Noctua NH-D14

Again, I would appreciate any and all help. Thanks!!!

you like 2 6970's over 3 6950's?!
120gb vertex 3 (fastest ssd) over 64 gb m4?!
you are pretty much saying you prefer a slower system.
