550GTX Ti vs. 6850

hey guys
I was checking out these two cards today, so I wondered. Which one is better? I play all sorts of games (Fallout NV, Crysis Warhead, Metro 2033, COD Black Ops, etc...) on a resolution of 1440x900. The price difference between the two cards isn't really significant, which is why I was curious.

The Radeon 6850 is a lot faster than the 550. A cheaper 6790 is more on the level of the 550

Just look at any reviews of the 550 TI. Even an overclocked model falls very short of a 6850. It offers performance more on par with a Radeon 5770, but the faster 6970 is around the same price

get the 6850, much more worth while. even a gtx460 is a better option if you want a nvidia card. dont be misled by the numbering. a gtx460 is faster than a 550Ti.
