HDTV Soundbar +TOSlink for PC Speaker

I decided to buy a Vizo HDTV soundbar in lieu of PC speakers. I used Toslink to connect. The analog ports are for my 5.1 turtle beach headphones (late night games), the Soundbar for the rest of the time. I'm not sure if this was a stroke of genius or dumb. The highs and mid are pretty decent, great for netflix streaming, pretty poor bass for FPS though. I think I need to buy a bass speaker now. THe sound bar was only US89. anyone else try this approach?

Looks like I needed to ask a question. Has anybody here used a TV soundbar for computer speakers and if so what do you think? It seems to me that soundbars are ultra cheap and decent computer speakers are still pretty pricey. I think the soundbar is good if you have the extra space on your computer desk.
