O.K. here we go.
I have two xfx 5870 (model: HD-587X-ZN) set up in cross fire on a GA-X58-USB3 mother board by Gigabyte. I have these components in a Thermaltake V9 Black Edition ATX Computer Gaming Chassis.
My issue is that the two graphics card are right on top of one another. (top two pci-e x16 mounts). There is maybe 2mm-5mm of room between the two cards. And i believe that my top card maybe over heating since the fan is in the center of the card, and as stated, very close to the other card.
I was looking at aftermarket vga coolers and wanted some advice as to what would work, with good clearence and airflow, or is there a better alternative. I really dont want to get into liquid cooling, do to lack of experience and cost.
Thanks in advance.
