Ati 5850 to 560 TI or GTX 470?

Mainly switching because of stability issues.

This graphics card(ati 5850) is very unstable. IT crashes everytime and I end up losing work on the 3d app that I use. I heard that nVidia is better for 3d apps such as 3ds Max , Maya and Houdini. Also Ati doesn't have CUDA , this is another good reason for me to switch to nVidia.

Which is better the GTX 470 or 560 TI?

Between those 3 the GTX560 Ti is no brainer.
