Netgear Wireless Setup

I have DG834G v2 wireless router with 4 ethernet ports. I have a GPON based Broadband connection from an ONT which is a Optical terminal box installed in my home. I have connected my Netgear with the ONT through ethernet cable on one of the ports. I am using other 3 ethernet ports for connecting PCs and this works fine. The problem is that the Wifi connection is not working in this configuration. I can see the wireless physical connection on my laptop but the internet doesn't connect. Do I need to make any changes in the Netgear set up to make the wireless work?

Well, I'd try turning off wireless security in the router temporarily and see what happens.
