Barebones kit, yes or no?

I've been trying to convince my parents for years to get new computers because ours are um...... Garbage. No offense to the garbage though. ANYWAY i was wondering if this was a good bare bones kit to try to convince them to buy? I would replace the graphics card that comes with it though because its terrible. My dad used to assemble/fix computers so thats not a problem for us.

That's not a bad price for the rig but you would want a better gpu Imo.

If you do buy it, replace that generic PSU as well. That is a problem waiting to happen. might just be better to buy components separately if you are going to replace one or two of the components anyway.

Yeah, I wouldn't trust that PSU, and at this point, with both GPU and PSU sold or trashed, you'd be better off with individual parts, or finding smaller bundles on Newegg or something.

hey look on the bright side, it has an i5-2500k (although it might not be so bright when your PSU decides its time to wreck it...)

Don't really understand that bundle, H67 motherboard and 2500k? Why bundle a overclock-able i5 cpu with a motherboard which isn't designed to be overclocked?

Seems like an awkward mismatch of parts really, just re-search what you want and then look for the best bundle/price or get everything seperatly and have more fun

it might try to use the intergrated graphics, but then why the GT210? IMO i think they are trying to sell this to people who don't know what they are buying and just look a the CPU, GPU and HDD vs the price
