I building a sub $800 gaming rig for a friend of mine and I am just making sure that these would work well together.

EDIT: Like mjmjpfaff said, the HD 6870 can be had for less,... Another good one which is nearly costs the same before rebates,...

God no... I bought that cooler for my build and the fan never worked lol. He wont need to OC so Im thinking the stock fan would be ok. Also, he can grab one down the road.

Thanks for the help Ill ask if he can spare the extra up front for the mail in rebate.

you are one unlucky person. ive never heard of anyone with a problem with the hyper 212 plus. did you contact cooler master they would have probably sent you a fan right away.
