ASRock Z77 Pro 4-M Black Screen

Hello,

So I just built a new rig:

ASRock Z77 Pro 4-M
Intel i5 3570k
8 (4x2) gb RAM
Samsung Super Write DVD drive
Barracuda 1tb Drive

When I boot up, with Ubuntu DVD in the drive, it loads just fine and installs the OS

But if I boot up and try to go into BIOS, it just goes black and stays black.

I believe the function reads "Press f2 or Del" and that brings you into your UEFI...

Is this a bad mobo? It's brand new. Maybe a bad bios? Should I contact customer support? Or go back to MicroCenter for a new one?

Please help.
