Power for seconds at a time?

Putting together a new system - simple enough - however - i put power through the mobo and it starts up for about four seconds and then shuts down... no feedback from BIOS, etc... If I continue to turn it on, usually holding reset button... it will stay powered up, but again - no feedback. Help?

Sounds like a bad power supply. I would RMA it for a new one.

I'll try that, in the meantime, Is there a way to test it
