MPC Micron X1000 Wireless card

Can't get the wireless card on my MPC / Micron X1000 to work. I've installed a working Intel a/b/g card but seem to receive no wireless card recognition ( I have 3 of these working MPC'X1000 with same results fro all 3),

most laptops have a switch to turn on the wireless network card
