Confused on memory w/ motherboard compatibility

Hey guys, just have a quick question on compatibility

I'm looking to get this motherboard w/ an i5-3570k.

GIGABYTE GA-Z77-D3H LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

I decided to get 8 gb of Corsair Vengeance Blue ram from Newegg but on their site they have 2 versions of the 8 gb ram. One set of ram says for Z77 Chipset but when I check it seems like it's not compatible with this motherboard.

The two versions are:

On the board it says it'll accept DDR3 2400(OC)/1600/1333/1066.

I think that the first set of ram will work, I just want to make sure.

Thanks guys.

More about confused memory motherboard compatibility
  1. They both are compatible, for your set up, get this one -> DDR3 1866
  2. Its bit faster than the other one, a better choice.

  3. BTW, do u have a aftermarket CPU cooler?
  4. If u would need low profile, this one will do.

    CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 Desktop Memory Model CML8GX3M2A1866C9R

Fast Corsair Vengeance 1.5V memory for Z77
    In stock.

    was: $64.99

  5. I was planning on getting the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo
  6. Than u need the red RAM.

    Low profile one.
