I haven't really done anything with Crossfire or SLI yet, but am an avid gamer. I was debating adding another card and setting up a crossfire config but don't really know much about crossfire. My current card is http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... but it is out of stock, so I can't get another of the same card. I was thinking about adding http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... to it, but don't know if those will be compatible (I'm not sure if you need exactly the same card, or just the same series, and if anything else would mess up compatibility). Would these 2 cards work together, and if so, is it worth setting up crossfire with these?

They should work fine in crossfire mode, they will just run at the speed of the slowest card, the XFX.
Just make sure that you have a strong enough power supply, something with 650-750 watts from a good brand (Corsair, Seasonic, Antec, XFX Black edition, PCP&C)
