So I am finally upgrading from my Athlon II X4 640 with an HD 4770 512mb

I am going to use my new system for the following:

* Lots of web design (gimp+dreamweaver)
* ^^ Multiple browsers open at the same time to test codes
* Beginner/Intermediate video editing
* Intermediate gaming (Civilizations, Call of Duty, other mainstream games)
* Virtual Machines (1-3 simultaneously)
* Possible hosting LAN games (minecraft)
* Java 3d Development
* Heavy Web Browsing
* Beginner Flash Development
* Lots of multitasking!!!

Also note that I have a 1920x1080 resolution monitor

Also, I'd prefer parts from NewEgg

I'm thinking 128gb ssd, and the hard drive is for virtual machines, so 500gbish?

I have a keyboard and mouse already as well as speakers and a dvd-rom.

there is no need for a sound card unless you have a really expensive sound system.

just use ethernet for your internet connection.
