I want to buy a AM3(+) cpu that's ideal for Starcrafting. I've heard that larger caches and more GHz makes Starcraft 2 run faster during heavy intense battles. So is AMD's 4-core Bulldozers a good choice?

Starcraft 2 like you say likes larger cache and high CPU frequency but makes poor use of more than 2 cores, so the best value CPU would be i3s. AMDs current CPUs are poor compared to intel with there best CPU for the game Phenom x4 at 3.7GHz fails to beat an i3 dual core at 3.3GHz. As for bulldozer noone knows until its released but at the moment this game favours Intel strongly.

Check this, should give you a good idea.

You need at least three cores (either hyper-threaded or physical) running at about 3 GHz. So while most current-gen intel chips will be fine, AMD's stuff is too inefficient by comparison. I'm betting that Zambezi chips WILL run Starcraft 2 beautifully, but as bob and simon said, we have no benchmarks yet.
