After receiving very negative feedback with every post I've put up even mentioning my power supply (OCZ ModXstream Pro 700w) about it, I've decided I should return it for a better one. I need at least 700w, connectors for 2 gpus, modular, and it has to be within $20 of the modxstream. The only thing I can find that can fit those criteria are the Rosewill Hive 750w or the http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml... (the second of which I'm not too sure about). If you know whether these are good or if they don't live up to their expectations, please post. Thanks!

The Rosewill Hive apparently shares the same internal design as the OCZ ZS series, which is getting positive reviews, so I'd say that is your best option.

I would not buy a Cooler Master eXtreme Power unit for myself, as other units in that series haven't reviewed well, so I wouldn't recommend them.

What two GPUs are you planning to buy/use?

I'm definitely leaning towards the hive. That was my original choice but I was at microcenter and the psu I have now was on sale so I got it instead. Not really a good decision.. does anyone know if microcenter will take back a product if the rebate has been sent it?

Another solution which would be easier so I don't have to wait for the power supply to be delivered is the thermaltake tr2 rx 750w. http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml... and if that has good reviews I'll most likely go with that. Does anyone know anything about it?

Game killer. Good luck.

For the record, I think Microcenter has the (Mk. I) Silencer 760 on sale. I don't think I've yet seen a review to see if it's a match for the pre-MK. II Silencers, but there ya' go.

never skimp on a psu, it will outlast every other part of your system and you will be able to reuse it future builds.

I saved a little more and decided on a Corsair GS800. Thanks everyone!
