What would be the best way to apply thermal paste if im using a Xigmatek Gaia hsf?

Dont follow the instruction, Follow what the Base looks likes(That touches CPU, Contact) than apply it on the CPU...If it's square or rectangle, cover the whole CPU, if it's round like intel's stock cpu than make a round circle... Dont just put a little dot in the middle of the CPU because it wont spread good enough because of it going into one side awhile the other side is emty...
