Warcraft graphics question

hi i play warcraft cataclysm and i was wondering what the differences are in running in full screen mode and just windows mode as i tend to lag in downtown sw trade district

i have 4gb ram running windows 7 64bit and i have a geforce 8800gt 2gb

no differnce if same res .... window mode makes alt tab easier
