I have a Gigabyte 880GA-UD3H I'm installing which has an on-board graphics card. I'm going to install a GeForce GT 440 card. My question is when I go to boot the system for the first time, with the monitor plugged into the new card output, will I be able to see the start up screen? I know I will have to go into the bios later and choose the pci card for default video. I just want to know initially should I be plugged into the new card outlet or the mobo's outlet. Thanks in advance.

You can plug into the gcard and see the start up screen.
