Upgrading alienware mx11

Hello,

I'm just wondering if it's possible to buy a new processor (core i5m) and a new mobile vid card for the alienware mx11. I've never done a laptop upgrade before but I've done tons of desktop upgrades. Just wondering if this is possible!

Physically the cpu is changeable

Recommended no, the laptop was designed for that specific cpu and has the cooling of THAT CPU. same thing with Graphics card.

Ah, ok.

So you're saying Ill run into overheat issues if any hardware is upgraded. The machine does run a little hot already when playing games...
