AMD 3 Motherboard (Under $100)

I currently have selected the ASRock 970 EXTREME3 AM3+ Motherboard, but the reviews kind of scare me. About half of the reviews say it was DOA, and some others say it doesn't work well, or that something else is wrong with it. Can anyone recommend an AMD 3 motherboard similar to this one? I'd like to keep it under $100, so nothing special, just good reviews and a reliable board.
It needs to have a PCI 2.0 x16 port, at least 2 240pin RAM spots, and thats pretty much all I need.

You will find that more unhappy people leave user reviews than people that are happy, so take them with a grain of salt.

Thanks, and bump. Still unsure of what to get. It seems like all the motherboards have 20-30% of people saying DOA or that the boards suck, ect... It's weird.Nothing weird about, everybody that got a faulty product complaining and maybe 10% of the people that had no problem gave a review.
